Tiger Homecoming Scholars Program

GUNAA

  • The GramFam Homecoming Scholarship will be awarded to TEN(10) deserving student during the GUNAA 2024 HOMECOMING ALUMNI KICKBACK. Students can nominate themselves, but they must also meet the recommendation requirements.escription text goes here

  • Eligibility:

    1. Nominee must be a current student enrolled at Grambling State University.

      Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5.

    2. Nomination:

      Students can self-nominate but must also secure a recommendation letter from a faculty member, an alumni, or an advisor.

      Nomination form must include:

      • Student's full name and contact information.

        Current GPA.

        A 500-word essay on why the student deserves the scholarship, highlighting achievements and contributions to the GramFam community.

      Recommendation Letter:

      Must be from someone who knows the student personally and professionally (faculty member, alumni, advisor).

      Should discuss the student’s leadership, academic performance, and involvement in university life.

    3. Selection Process:

      The scholarship committee will review all applications and select the recipient based on merit, leadership, and contribution to the GramFam community.

      The scholarship will be presented at the Gospel Brunch.

    4. Award Amount:

      The scholarship will consist of 50% of the funds raised during the 50/50 Musical Chairs Competition, crowdfunding, and corporate match!
